Three persons have reportedly lost their lives following a fatal road accident on the Adeiso–Asamankese highway in the early hours of Saturday.
According to preliminary information, the crash occurred at dawn, though the exact circumstances leading to the collision remain unclear.
Eyewitness accounts suggest that the vehicles involved sustained significant damage, indicating the impact may have been severe. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after the incident was reported.
The deceased victims have yet to be officially identified, pending notification of their families. Authorities are also working to determine whether factors such as speeding, driver fatigue, poor visibility, or mechanical failure may have contributed to the tragedy.
The Adeiso–Asamankese stretch has recorded several accidents in recent years, raising concerns about road safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
Motorists have repeatedly been urged to exercise caution, particularly during nighttime and early morning travel when visibility is reduced.
