Three Suspects Arrested for Allegedly Stealing iPhone 17 Pro Max, Apple Watch and Necklace

The Ghana Police Service, through its National Operations Directorate (NOD) Surveillance Unit, has arrested three suspects in connection with a robbery incident at Kwabenya in the Greater Accra Region.

According to police, the incident occurred on January 18, 2026, when two armed men attacked a residence in Kwabenya.

The assailants made away with two iPhone 17 Pro Max mobile phones, a gold necklace, an Apple Watch, a car key, GH¢14,000 in cash, and US$300.

The victim was also compelled to log out of his iCloud account on one of the stolen devices.

Following investigations, the police arrested Francis Amo, also known as Agogo; Anthony Boateng, alias Aisha Kojo; and Musah Ibrahim, known as Coded, who is believed to have acted as a receiver.

The suspects have reportedly admitted their roles in the crime.

Recovered items include one iPhone 17 Pro Max, an Apple Watch, and a Samsung Fold phone.

A further search at Anthony Boateng’s residence led to the discovery of offensive weapons, including a truncheon, a short machete, knives, scissors, lighters, and a face shield.

The suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue, with efforts underway to recover the remaining stolen items and apprehend any additional accomplices.
