A TikTok user has sparked conversation online after claiming that some Ghanaian men allegedly misuse private videos sent to them by women.
According to the woman, many ladies are often persuaded to record and send personal videos to men they are communicating with, only for those same videos to later be used against them.
In a video circulating on social media, the TikToker expressed frustration over what she described as a troubling trend.
She questioned why some men would request such videos from women and later resort to threatening or blackmailing them with the same content.
“You Ghanaians ask us to send you videos, and after we send them, you use them to blackmail us,” she said, while sharing her concerns with followers.
The TikToker explained that many women agree to send such videos out of trust or goodwill, believing the requests are harmless and made within the context of friendly or romantic communication.
However, she alleged that in some situations, the same videos later become tools for intimidation or manipulation.
Her comments have generated mixed reactions online.
While some social media users supported her claims and warned women to be cautious when sharing private content, others emphasized the importance of personal responsibility and online safety.
The discussion highlights the growing concerns about digital privacy and the misuse of personal media in online relationships.
