Ghanaian adult film star Daisy Melanin has stirred conversation online following a recent interview with Nigerian content creator Egungun of Lagos, widely known for his street-style celebrity interviews.
During the discussion, Daisy opened up about her career in the adult entertainment industry, addressing common perceptions and sharing her personal views on relationships and professional goals.
According to Daisy, individuals working in the adult film industry can be among the most loyal partners in relationships.
She explained that transparency plays a major role in such relationships, as partners are typically aware of the nature of the job from the outset.
In her view, this openness reduces the likelihood of secrecy or betrayal that can sometimes affect other relationships.
Daisy also revealed that she entered the industry by personal choice and expressed satisfaction with her career path.
Despite her own experience, however, she advised younger people—particularly those in the new generation—not to rush into the industry. She hinted that the profession comes with significant challenges, including social stigma and public criticism.
When asked where most of the negative reactions toward her work originate, Daisy mentioned Ghana and Nigeria as the countries where she frequently receives the harshest comments online.
Looking ahead, Daisy shared one of her most ambitious professional goals: participating in a large-scale adult film project involving multiple male performers.
