Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro has appealed to Ghanaians to exercise restraint and forgiveness following controversial comments attributed to Prophet ElBernard that have sparked public debate.
Using a battlefield analogy, Prophet Oduro explained that in warfare, soldiers never abandon a wounded colleague, even under heavy fire. Instead, they protect, carry, and rebuild one another to return stronger.
He argued that similar compassion and solidarity should apply within the Christian community, rather than condemnation or internal attacks when a fellow believer is perceived to have erred.

According to him, public criticism that seeks to “destroy” a wounded colleague contradicts the core Christian values of love, restoration, and unity.
He stressed that disagreements should be handled with wisdom, correction, and grace, not hostility.
Prophet Oduro therefore urged Christians and the wider Ghanaian public to forgive Prophet ElBernard, de-escalate tensions, and focus on reconciliation, emphasizing that forgiveness is essential for spiritual growth and communal harmony.
Ghanaians kindly forgive Prophet ElBernard
