Widow of Late John Kumah, Apostle Lilian Kumah, Remarries One Year After Husband’s Passing

Apostle Lilian Kumah, the widow of the late Deputy Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for Ejisu, Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah, has officially remarried, nearly a year after her husband’s passing.

Now known as Mrs. Lilian Aryeequaye, she tied the knot in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends.

The late Dr. John Kumah passed away in March 2024 after a brief illness, leaving behind his wife and children.

His death was a significant national loss, as he was a prominent figure in Ghanaian politics and a respected lawyer and entrepreneur.

Apostle Lilian Kumah, a woman of faith and leader in her own right, has since remained strong, continuing her ministerial work and caring for her family.

Her decision to remarry comes after observing the traditional period of mourning and widowhood rites, in line with Ghanaian customs.

News of her remarriage has sparked a wave of congratulatory messages across social media, with many commending her for taking a bold step forward in rebuilding her life while preserving the legacy of her late husband.
