Ghana is preparing to bid a final farewell to one of its most iconic and celebrated musicians, Mr. Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, affectionately known as Daddy Lumba (DL), whose passing on July 26, 2025, at the Bank Hospital sent shockwaves through the nation and beyond. The legendary highlife artist was 60 years old.

A state-assisted funeral has been arranged to honour the life and legacy of the musical legend, whose contribution to Ghanaian music spans decades and continues to influence generations.

– Thanksgiving Service:
