Man Allegedly Kills Girlfriend Over a 10-Year Relationship
A Kumasi Beautician known in the media space as Sally Benson is allegedly killed by her boyfriend of 10 years.
According to the police report, the boyfriend whose name has been identified as Francis Arthur allegedly murdered Sally in what the police described as domestic violence.
The report says that Francis was accused of beating his girlfriend to death after a misunderstanding at Ayigya Maxima.
The case reported by the police occurred on 14th April, 2026.

According to the primary report, Sally went to the suspect’s house after someone informed her that there was a woman visiting his house. The suspect was not at home upon their arrival.
When Francis came he confronted and created tension which escalated leading to the assault of the victim.
She collapsed and was later sent to the KNUST teaching hospital but was pronounced dead.
The suspect made his first appearance on Tuesday, 21st April, 2026, and has been remanded to reappear before the court on 8th May, 2026.
The father of the victim, Apostle Gabriel Oppong, expressed his sorrow about the child’s birth and called for justice for the victim.
The body of the deceased has been deposited in Okomfo Anokye while investigations are still ongoing.
