Police Arrest One Suspect, Two in Critical Condition at Akyem Oda Violent Clash
The Ghana Police has issued a press statement on the Akyem Oda new station after young men were seen engaging in an open fight using cutlasses.
According to the police released on May, 6, 2026, the police after seeing the receipt of information in the viral video on the internet of young men wielding a cutlass on each other, the police went to the scene to ensure calmness.

Two suspects were admitted to the Oda Jubilee Hospital in Oda, at the Oda Government Hospital where the police met them receiving treatment.

Suspect identified as George Okyere aged 30 was admitted with a deep cut on his forehead and his right finger cut off due to the clash whilst Paul Pascalele, a suspect in the case also sustained a deep cut on his right hand receiving treatment at the hospital.
Evans Adayele upon the police investigation was arrested from a hideout and taken to the police custody assisting in the investigation.
