Police Arrest Two in Connection with Kwafokrom Goil Filling Station Armed Robbery

The Ghana Police have announced the arrest of two people in connection with armed robbery at the Goil filling station at Kwafokrom after CCTV revealed the suspects while attacking a supermarket within the filling station.

In a press release dated Tuesday, May, 26, 2026, the Eastern Regional Police Command revealed that suspects named Amaos Boame and Collins Adjei have been arrested following the armed robbery case in Kwafokrom on Sunday, May, 24, 2026.

It was further stated that one other suspect is on the run after the immediate arrest of the two suspects and it is alleged to have possessed the following;

Alder Tupal pump-action gun with the serial number 245A-12944, one electric shocker, a cutlass, and a bullet vest.

According to the report, the armed robbers shot the security man and the pump attendant who took refuge in the office within the station.

Money which amounts to thirteen thousand four hundred and sixty (GH¢13,460) was taken by these robbers.

The report further stated that upon search within the scene, nineteen used catriages were found and one ammunition.

The victim is in critical condition and currently receiving treatment at the hospital, police report.

The police have assured the public to remain calm as efforts are made to arrest the other suspect linked to the robbery.
