The Minister of Energy and Green Transition has announced via his Facebook that the fourth Akosombo Unit has been restored.
He stated that at 9:00pm, the fourth unit was brought to operation after the expertise team of engineers worked around it.
He describes the move as an encouraging step to strengthen the energy generation to halt the ongoing power crisis happening across the country.
This comes after a fire broke out and burned a power unit in the Akosombo which serves as a major power plant for generating energy (power) to manufacturing companies, enterprises, and small-scale businesses across the country.
He assured that the necessary steps are taken to ensure a stable power supply in the country.
