Asantehene Calls on World Leaders to End Conflicts and Prioritize Civilian Impact
Asantehene calls on the world leaders who have the world on their fingertips in the Middle East to end the global conflict and prioritize dialogue and listen to the cries of the innocent people.
Otumfuo made the statement during the World-meet-in Ghana program scheduled to honour His Royal Majesty as the Pillar of Peace held at Manhyia on April, 24, 2026.
“We convey to the powers who carry the destiny of the world on their fingertips to hear the cries of the millions who are the collateral victims of wars about which they have not the faintest idea,” he said.

His Royal Majesty emphasized that the destruction remains unmeasured as innocent people continue to suffer when there is war in a region.
“Indeed, I propose that the heart-rending mourning we are seeing on the airwaves is only a tip of the iceberg. The true collateral damage to the innocent villages of the globe is yet to be measured,” he added.
The Asantehene urged the Middle East countries such as Kyiv, Tehran, Beirut, and Tel Aviv to choose dialogue in solving the conflict.
