Fire burns a single room and other valuable properties in Essiam Breman

A fire outbreak has burned a room and other valuable items at Essiam Breman in the Central Region of Ghana.

According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNF) the fire started at around 9.00am on May, 4, 2026 after the service received a call from residents complaining of the devastating outbreak.

The GNF reported that they intervened in the fire outbreak and prevented it from spreading to the nearby building.

Upon arrival, the team from the GNF noticed that a four-bedroom house was engulfed in fire, and after which the firefighters brought the fire under control, leaving one room burnt.

The firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading into the three-bedroom, hall, and household containing items such as cooking utensils and other household items, and valuable items.
