Police Arrest Man for Allegedly Murdering a 22-Year-old Okada Rider At Nyamebekyere
A 22-year-old young man identified as Eric Nyarko, who is an Okada rider went missing.
The family, upon search discovered him dead at Nyame Bekyere, a suburb community near Akoase in the Birim North District of the Eastern Region.
The young man popularly known among his peers as Junior left home for work for a couple of days but failed to return.

According to the primary report, the family embarked on an unsuccessful attempt to find him but the effort yielded nothing, the phone of the deceased was called by the family which was answered but within a few minutes it was later switched off.

According to the report, the suspect has however been apprehended in connection with the murder after attempting to sell the victim’s motorcycle for GH₵3,000 in the nearby town.
The suspect is currently in police custody assisting in the investigation as the police have yet to arraign him before the court in the coming days.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Holy Family Hospital in Nkawkaw for further investigation to determine the actual cause of his death.
