Don’t Hide Behind Power to Intermediate Otumfuo – Dr. Stephen Amoah Warns
Member of Parliament for Nhyieso constituency has sent a caution to the government officials in the New Democratic Party (NDC) not to use their power to intimidate Otumfuo while in power.
Speaking on Angelfm Kumasi, he lamented that the current government officials are using their power to interfere with chieftaincy affairs in Asanteman.
He added that, power may not be theirs forever and therefore should be managed properly.

Honorable calls for unity among the tribes in the country as he urged people not to discriminate against others because of power.
According to him hiding behind power to intimidate Otumfuo and Asante is a very serious concern and should be looked into urgently since he is the pillar of peace in the country.
He added that, the government and its officials should allow the law to work rather than using power to interfere with the affairs of the traditional leaders.
“Don’t hide behind power to intimidate Otumfuo and other traditional leaders because you are a government official, power is transient so respect them”, he says.
