Sabotage Won’t Cause My Removal – Ejisu MCE Says after Attack on Her
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ejisu Municipal, Jerryne Asante says the attack on her won’t cause President Dramani Mahama to remove her.
This comes after an attack on her after an alleged National Democratic Congress (NDC) executive tried to close her office at the Municipal Assembly calling on the President to remove her.

Speaking on Adomfm, Miss Jerryne Asante lamented that the attack on her was caused by NDC executives in the Municipality after she denied them permission to sell state property.
Defending her statement she says some NDC executives together with the Regional Women’s Organizer, Gloria Huze reportedly attacked her for denying them to sell a land reportedly for the state.
She added that she is working in line with the President’s agenda ‘resetting Ghana’ and will always protect the state property under her jurisdiction, as mandated by the president.
She further stated that the attack on her was a sabotage for the president to remove her from office as she affirms that this sabotage won’t cause her removal.
She cautioned the Ejisu NDC executive to stop their action because it could cause damage to the party’s reputation in the constituency and the whole country.
She dismissed the claim of being admitted to the hospital because of the attack as she says it is a different health condition.
