Police Arrest Six for Impersonation for Robbery in Agona

The Ghana Police Service press statement released on 6th May, 2026 has informed the public that, the police command at Agona District received a tip-off on six men traveling in a Toyota Land Cruiser Vehicle who invaded S.I Jun Manufacturing Company Limited in Agona Akwakwa near Mankrong Nkwanta.

In the report, it was stated that three of the suspects were dressed in immigration uniforms while the other two were dressed in mufti and one was dressed in a military uniform who claimed they were in the military service.

The Police officers deployed to the scene saw Chinese nationals being handcuffed at the company’s car park.

The suspects were identified as Agyemang Benjamin aged 32, Mahama Iddrisu Dawda aged 48, Ofori Isaac aged 35, Adom Bills, aged 32, Hayford Boafo aged 47, and Ato Mchenry aged 48, and were arrested upon questioning.

All six suspects according to the report are currently in police custody assisting in the investigation.

The Police Service added that they will be arraigned before the court in the coming days as they urged the public to report such cases to the police.
