New Abusuapanin’s Application to Join the Injunction Case Granted by the Court
The application by the new Abusuapanin of Daddy Lumba’s family, Mr. Kwabena Brefo, has been granted by the Accra High Court for the celebration of the life of the late musician, Daddy Lumba.
The Court has formally granted the joinder to be part of the ongoing case pending at the court during the sitting on Thursday, May, 14, 2026.
According to the lawyers in the case, the new abusuapanin Mr. Kwabena Brefo is the acting family head of the Ekuona family and therefore deemed it right to be part of the ongoing court proceedings to avoid bias.
The Counsel is set to seek the necessary amendments process for the joinder to file for his application.
The case was adjourned to 29th June, 2026 for the hearing of the case to commence.
