Two Brothers Drowned in Abandoned Quarry Lake at Donorkope
According to a report shared by Sampafm via facebook two brothers identified as Felix Dogbey and Christian Dogbey aged 18 and 18 respectively have drowned in a quarry lake at Live Donorkope in the Volta Region which was abandoned for so many years.
The report further stated that the tragic incident happened while they tried to rescue their 9-year-old brother, who was drowning during a swimming competition with his colleagues.

Felix Dogbey who is the youngest among the two first jumped in and managed to save the child but while trying to swim back he was later seen drowned.
Christian Dogbey also entered the water in an attempt to save both Felix Dogbey and the 9-year-old, but sadly drowned as well while trying to rescue them.
Their bodies were later recovered after search efforts by rescue teams and have been deposited into the morgue.
The police are yet to release an official statement surrounding the incident as they have launched full investigations into the cause of their death.
