Energy Ministry Begins Installing Transformers to End Dumsor in the Northern region to improve power efficiency.
The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition together with the Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCo) has begun replacing and upgrading transformers in the Northern part of Ghana.

The project aims to reduce the power outage and to enhance the network of supplying power to all of the Northern sectors.
Dr. Jinapor, the Sector Minister, shared on his Facebook that the installation of new transformers aims to strengthen the sector, reduce constant power cuts, and ensure a reliable power supply to businesses, manufacturing companies, and service providers within the Region and its environs.
He added that the installation would be done in different phases to avoid power disruption in the area and assured the efficiency of the power supply in the Region.
