NPP Defends Kuffour, Demands Public Apology from Kelvin Taylor
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has strongly condemned the attack on the former President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Agyekum Kuffour by a YouTuber, Kevin Ekow Taylor in his recent remarks about the former president.
According to the press statement, the attack launched on the former President is not political but a desecration.
The NPP describes the former President Kuffour as the pillar of resurrecting Ghana’s economy, strengthening democracy, and has earned admiration in Ghana and the world at large.

It was further stated former President is the father of the nation and therefore needs to be acknowledged in such a manner.
They accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of being silence of the matter which they describe as complicity.
In the statement, the NPP has accused the mouthpiece of the NDC, Kevin Taylor, of verbally abusing the former President while the NDC was watching him.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) demands the following apology from Kevin Ekow Taylor, the leadership of the NDC, and His Excellency John Dramani Mahama;
- President Mahama and the NDC should dissociate themselves from the attacks on the person and legacy of the former President.
- Kevin Ekow Taylor must issue a full, unqualified, and public apology to former president Kuffour.
They added that the cultural and moral value of respecting should be obeyed asking the NDC to apologize to Ghanaians.
