Man Commits Suicide in Police custody after Being Accused of Defilement
A 38-year-old man has taken his own life after he was arrested for an alleged defilement.
According to a report by Lawsontv, the man was accused of defiling his stepdaughter of 11-eleven-year old who suffered injuries after the incident after it was discovered by her mother.

The report says the police arrested and put him behind bars while investigating the matter to the surprise of the police at the station he hung himself using a sponge.
According to a report close to the deceased, the man was neither sick nor hurt in any way but committed suicide after he was arrested and sent to the police station.
The police are yet to release an official statement to address the situation and detail what happened leading to the death of the man.
