Passport Application to be cancelled after two months if not completed – Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has publicly declared that a passport application that lasts for two (2) months without completion will be canceled from the date of its initial submission.
In a press statement released by the Ministry, it was stated that the purpose of this exercise is to let the public take note that an incomplete application refers to the applicant’s failure to provide biometric details and pending recapture.

“For the purpose of this purpose, the general public is kindly requested to take note that the incomplete applications refer to the applications that require further vetting (supporting documents, incomplete biometric capture, pending recapture)”.
The statement further stated that the fees paid in the process of the passport applications are non-refundable and applicants affected by such will be required to start a new application.
And aside from the new application the applicants can proceed to call 0302754200 for further enquiries about the applications.
The Ministry encouraged all Ghanaians to apply for and complete their passport application.
