Asante Akyem MP, Ohene Kwame Frimpong Arrested and Detained by the FBI
Ohene Kwame Frimpong, Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem has been arrested and detained in Amsterdam by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) linked to an alleged romance fraud.
A close report suggests that the lawmaker has been apprehended for an investigation involving money laundering and romance fraud.

The primary report suggests that the Member of Parliament was arrested for a criminal investigation of romance fraud involving US$32 million.
The lawmaker was arrested and detained by the Dutch authorities in collaboration with the FBI at Amsterdam Airport while the suspect was checking in.
Officials at the parliamentary house have not yet released a statement detailing the exact circumstances surrounding the arrest of the lawmaker.
