Police Rescue Abducted Nine-Year-Old Girl and Arrest Suspect at the airport
The Ghana police on 20th April, 2026 have arrested a female alleged to have abducted a nine-year-old girl in the Odumase-Krobo district.
According to the statement released, the police received a call from the child’s father on Sunday, April, 2026 about a missing child who went out of the house and never returned.

The police through its Intelligence department and the BNI from the Accra International Airport arrested and rescued the victim from a suspect named Regina Mamle Tawiah.
It was revealed that the suspect was sending the child to Kenya.
The suspect was arraigned before the court in Odumase-Krobo where she pleaded not guilty and has been remanded to reappear before the court on 5th May, 2026.
The Police through this communique had urged all Ghanaians to stay vigilant in reporting such to the nearest police station so further action can be taken.
