GES Releases Fund to Cover All 2026 WASSCE Practicals
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released funds to cover all expenses for Senior High Schools (SHS) and Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS) preparing to sit for the upcoming WASSCE nationwide.
According to the Public Relations Officer, Daniel Afenyi, in a press statement, the fund release by the GES management is to be allocated to pay for materials and other expenses associated with the practicals.
This is to ensure that, the WASSCE practicals are fully supported.

He then stated that, this release aims to reduce the financial burden on parents and guardians and also to allow students to solely focus on learning to pass their examinations.
Therefore, the fund is paid directly to schools to provide essential materials needed and support administrative activities.
He further cautions Regional directors and District directors to ensure funds allocated for the practical are duly used for their purpose.
