Prof Davis who spoke on behalf of GES notes that this year’s BECE will take place in 2,303 centres across the country, supervised by 2,303 supervisors, supported by 2,070 assistant supervisors, and 21,791 invigilators.
Each student is expected to write at least eleven (11) subjects.
He assured the public of bringing examination malpractice under control as they have strongly engaged its stakeholders and the West African Examination Council (WASSCE).
He added that examination malpractice poses a difficult challenge in various examinations in the country.
He assured that the GES and WASSCE are collaborating to provide security personnel to all the various centers to ensure free and fair examination.
‘No Room for Apor’, he said.
He then sends a caution to all invigilators and supervisors to do a diligent job as examination malpractice does not bring a true reflection of the students’ performance.
He added that there will not be any external help from any supervisor or invigilator as he urges students not to fear or panic about the upcoming examination and that they learn hard to pass it.
