The Ghana Football Association (GFA), in partnership with global sportswear brand Puma, has officially unveiled a new home jersey for the Black Stars ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The jersey, which reflects elements of Ghanaian culture and identity, was revealed in a promotional campaign featuring national team players.

The design of the new kit is a striking blend of tradition and modernity. Dominated by white, the jersey features intricate line art inspired by Ghanaian architecture and kente patterns, symbolizing strength, unity, and heritage.

A bold black star a national emblem — sits prominently in the center of the chest, representing Ghana’s nickname, “The Black Stars.”

Most social media has taken it to the internet asking the GFA to maintain the traditional colors.

The Ghana Football Association’s crest is also prominently displayed on the left chest, while Puma’s logo features on the right.

The jersey’s unique design pays tribute to the country’s rich cultural legacy and the fighting spirit of its people. It aims to inspire pride among fans and confidence among players as Ghana prepares for the upcoming World Cup campaign.
